Bocilla Islands Conservancy is partnering with Keep Charlotte Beautiful, a local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, for an island-wide cleanup supporting environmental stewardship in Charlotte County.
Cleanup efforts will take place island-wide, including specific properties, easements, and designated areas within the mangroves. If you have debris or materials that need removal, please contact us to see if we can help support your request.
We are working on having Waste Management to deliver a donated dumpster. Let’s clean up our island!
Where: Meet at the corner of South Gulf and Bocilla. Click here for the map.
Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m., but you can arrive at our table at any time, located at the corner of Bocilla and South Gulf Road. Join us for as little or as long as you can. Every bit helps.
Please wear sneakers or boots, bring gloves, and a rake if you have one.
We’ll provide coffee, water, and some light snacks.
Appliances, batteries, tires, and auto parts cannot be put in the dumpster. For more information on excluded items, please click here.
The dumpsters location is TBD.
Thank you for all your support in keeping our island beautiful.
