Get ready for a fun new island tradition! Join Bocilla Islands Conservancy on July 3 for our first-ever summer fundraiser, bringing the community together for a festive evening of adventure, great food, and conservation.

Mission BBQThe event will feature a family-friendly scavenger hunt followed by an unforgettable barbecue experience with the MISSION BBQ Bama Truck (aka BAM BAM), a custom military-style barbecue truck with a built-in smoker serving up authentic BBQ made from fresh, delicious ingredients.

This event is about more than just good food and fun. Proceeds will help support wildlife habitat protection, island conservation programs, and environmental stewardship efforts across the Bocilla Islands. In the spirit of MISSION BBQ’s own commitment to service, a portion of proceeds will also help honor and support the men and women who serve our communities, including veterans, first responders, and those in uniform.

Scavenger Hunt Frequently Asked Questions

A Scavenger Hunt Entry Pass is your individual ticket to participate in the scavenger hunt. Your minimum donation supports the Bocilla Islands Conservancy and provides access to the scavenger hunt activities, checkpoints, event app (if applicable), and eligibility for prizes and raffles.

Yes. Each participant who wishes to actively participate in the scavenger hunt should have their own Scavenger Hunt Entry Pass. Individual passes help us accurately track participation, manage prizes and raffles, and support the conservation programs of the Bocilla Islands Conservancy.

Absolutely. Families and teams are encouraged to participate together. However, each person who wishes to be eligible for individual scavenger hunt prizes, raffles, and giveaways should purchase their own Scavenger Hunt Entry Pass.

All minimum donation proceeds benefit the Bocilla Islands Conservancy and help support local conservation, environmental education, habitat restoration, wildlife protection, and community stewardship programs throughout the Bocilla Islands.

Yes. Guests may register for the Dinner Only option if they would like to attend the evening festivities without participating in the scavenger hunt.
