Proceeds from this event benefit the Bocilla Islands Conservancy and help support local conservation, environmental education, habitat restoration, wildlife protection, land acquisition, educational facilities, and community stewardship programs throughout the Bocilla Islands Chain.

We have worked hard to keep this event affordable so that everyone can participate. By attending, you’re not only enjoying a fun evening with friends and family, great food, and an island adventure; you’re also helping protect the natural places and wildlife that make our islands special.

If you would like to make an additional contribution, your support will help us continue acquiring and protecting habitat, restoring native ecosystems, educating residents and visitors, and building a stronger future for conservation throughout the Bocilla Islands Chain.

Every ticket purchased helps make a difference.

A raffle ticket is a fun way to support the Bocilla Islands Conservancy while giving yourself the chance to win exciting prizes. Individual raffle tickets are $25 each, and you may donate any amount. For every $100 donated, you will receive 5 raffle tickets.

When you arrive at the event, you will receive your raffle tickets at check-in. We keep track of all donations in our database, so your tickets will be ready for you. Simply write your name on each ticket and place the tickets in the prize boxes for the items you hope to win. The more tickets you place in a prize box, the greater your chances of winning that prize.

Raffle prizes include experiences, gift certificates, outdoor gear, dog training, fly fishing instruction, a pizza oven, massage therapy, a six-person eco boat tour, a premium fishing reel, and much more.

Most importantly, every raffle ticket purchased helps support the Bocilla Islands Conservancy and our mission to protect and preserve our islands for future generations.

You do not need to attend the event to support the Conservancy and have a chance to win. If you are unable to attend, we will gladly place your raffle tickets randomly among the prizes on your behalf, or you may notify us in advance which prize drawings you would like your tickets entered into.

If you made a donation while purchasing your BBQ tickets, don’t worry. We have recorded your contribution and will have your raffle tickets ready for you when you check in at the event.

Winners will be notified using the email address provided at registration. Winners are responsible for claiming their prizes within 30 days of the event. Prizes must be picked up locally and will not be shipped. The Bocilla Islands Conservancy is not responsible for incorrect contact information or unclaimed prizes. Any prizes not claimed within 30 days may, at the sole discretion of the Conservancy, be used to further support its mission through future fundraising efforts or other charitable purposes.

Buy BBQ Tickets & Scavenger Hunt Tickets

Raffle prizes and scavenger hunt prizes are two separate ways to win.

Raffle tickets are received through donations to the Bocilla Islands Conservancy. Individual raffle tickets are $25 each, and for every $100 donated, you will receive 5 raffle tickets. You may place your raffle tickets into the boxes for the prizes you hope to win.

Scavenger hunt prizes are separate and are earned by purchasing a $10 Scavenger Hunt ticket and completing the scavenger hunt. Once you finish the hunt and turn in your completed card, you will receive a Scavenger Hunt prize ticket. You can then place that ticket into the box for the scavenger hunt prize you would like to win. Scavenger Hunt prize tickets are separate from fundraiser raffle tickets and can only be used for Scavenger Hunt prizes.

Scavenger hunt tickets can only be used for scavenger hunt prizes, and raffle tickets can only be used for raffle prizes. This allows everyone to enjoy the hunt while also giving supporters the opportunity to help fund conservation and win exciting raffle items.

We will keep track of any donations you make when purchasing your BBQ tickets. While the cost of your BBQ tickets is not considered a donation, any additional contribution you choose to make, beginning at $25, will count toward raffle tickets. For every $100 donated, you will receive 5 raffle tickets. We will record your donations in our database and have the appropriate number of raffle tickets ready for you when you check in at the event.

As a 100% volunteer organization, we rely on community support to preserve critical wildlife habitat and ensure the natural beauty of our islands remains intact for future generations.

Your support also helps us educate residents and visitors about the unique ecosystems that make our islands so special. Through educational signs, lectures, citizen science, and hands-on programs, we strive to inspire stewardship and connect people with the natural world around them.

In addition, your generosity helps fund habitat restoration, invasive species removal, gopher tortoise relocation, living shoreline restoration, and clean water initiatives such as Vertical Oyster Gardens and artificial dock habitats. These are just a few of the ways your support helps protect our islands, improve water quality, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
